| Excellent impression. Some brown spots in the outer margin. All the earlier impressions of prints by Matthijs Maris are rare. Of this etching there are earlier states. In the Amsterdam Printroom there is a first state with the trees not yet finished. The differences between the second and third state are hard to define also because of the use of different paper. |
