| Fine impression and condition. Nearly all the etchings by Bauer were published by Van Wisselingh. Some others were intended as original etchings in magazines. In November 1924 travels again to British India more than 25 years after his first trip in 1898. In the Teylers Museum in Haarlem sketchbooks from this last trip are kept. One of the drawings in a sketchbook shows a study for our print. |
