Excellent early impressions with tone, excellent condition.
All signed in the plate. With the address of Delâtre on the title.
All in the finished state.
The plates still exist and were later printed again by Sagot. These early impressions are
rare according to Delteil.
They have watermarks “Hallines”or “Hudeliste”.

These etchings are the first Jongkind made.
On the cover we read “Chez l 'auteur Rue Chevreuses”, maybe meaning that Jongkind tried to sell his own prints and also through the printer Delâtre.
Most of his prints were always sold by Cadart.
