In the catalogue of the Collection de Ridder by Van der Kellen lot no. 491 comprises four prints.
Montauban van Swijndrecht bought a lot in this auction according to Lugt. Many of his prints ended up in Boijmans, which museum applied a special stamp for the prints coming from this collection. Hendrik de Winter in his catalogue of the works of Berchem (published 1767) mentions five prints which he describes in extenso. In the end (p.118) a note De vyf voorgemelde Prentjes, zyn zelden te bekomen etc. |
