Jan Gerritsz. van Bronchorst is mentioned by Wurzbach as a pupil
of Cornelis Poelenburg. Both went to Italy. Poelenburg was in Rome
between 1617 and 1622 and made many sketches. Most of the Roman
views etched by Brochorst are after design by Poelenburg.
