16.8 x 11.5 cm with margin.
Printed on chine Volant and mounted by the artist.
 
Very rare. Around 1898/99 when Mesquita started to make name as a graphic artist, he made a series of prints, most
of them woodcuts and primarily depicting women.
 
Most of the prints were in an exhibition at Bing’s in Paris
and illustrated in “Dekorative Kunst” in 1899.
