One of the most famous prints by Mesquita, but very rare. Only 6 impressions were traced by Van Es. This impression had on the cardboard backing a price of 65 guilders (Mesquita’s handwriting), rather a lot of money at that time. The old newspaper in the frame was dated 1921. |
