| This print is considered to be the chief work by Bos. The print corresponds generally to a painting by Heemskerck now in the National Gallery in Prague. There are differences however so it could be possible that the print is made after a drawing by Heemskerck. Maybe that is also the reason why the name of Heemskerck is not in the print. |
