A fine early impression. S.Giacomo di Rialto, one of the oldest Venetian churches,
stands facing the Campo di Rialto. On the right, the Ruga degli Orefici (Street of the Goldsmiths) flanked by the Sottoportici di Rialto, with numerous shops. On the left in the real situation one sees another sottoportici, on the print we see a row of three classical columns, a statue on a pedestal and in the distance the lagoon and shipping.
